Pom Gratz – Eco Dome Self-catering offers unique, off-the-grid solar dome stands that are situated on a tranquil, picturesque farm in Tesselaarsdal. If you like the wide-open spaces, Overberg stars at night, walks in the Renosterbos, pet-friendly environment, then we look forward to seeing you soon.
We have 3 eco-dome units; each is set up to ensure big open sky views in an eco-sensitive environment with a minimal footprint. The toilets are all waterless, and the excess water from the dome goes into a developing gray water wetland. Electricity is supplied by our off-the-grid solar system.
These unique off-the grid solar domes each contain a queen-size bed and a private bathroom with a waterless toilet. They contain coffee/tea facilities and sitting areas that open onto a deck, overlooking the picturesque farm.
There are tranquil walks in our labyrinth, through our pomegranate orchards, and renosterbos rambles. You can relax in the hammock sunk into your deck or gaze at the sunset and evening starts at our star deck. You can chat to Mike and Sandy, the hosts, about the off-the-grid eco-friendly lifestyle – right down to their 350m² greenhouse, heavy with veggies, herbs and more.
Farm life & off the grid living – step away from the hustle and bustle – clutch out and unwind, rest and relax or walk, run, cycle in a tranquil peaceful space.

Loved the eco dome! It was very comfortable and had the most amazing views. Lovely to lay in bed and see the moon and stars at night. It was peaceful and serene and the perfect place to relax and get away. Would highly recommend!!
