Franschhoek is world renowned for its spectacular beauty, superb Cape wines and world class restaurants, our beautiful village of Franschhoek is a definite must-visit destination on any trip to the Western Cape of South Africa.
Residence Vive La Vie was design and styled to cater for all. Situated on the edge of the village, a 15 minute walk from the center, it gives you a sense of relaxation from the hustle and bustle of the busy main road. In summer time the pool is just what you need to cool down or relax on your private outside patio before you leave for dinner in one of the many famous cafes or restaurants.
Residence Vive La Vie offers five beautifully individually decorated bedrooms to choose from.
Our three King suites are large and stylish, and two smaller Queen Suites all with natural light from windows and glass doors. Every room is different but the colour palette uses unique and expertly matched hues. Each suite has a en-suite bathroom. Two of the suites have a full bathroom with bath and shower, and the other three suites with showers only.
All suites have a small refrigerator, individually controlled heating & air-conditioning, work desk, flat screen LCD TV with Netflix only, FREE WI-FI, hair dryer, in-room safe, and tea & coffee making facilities.

Franschhoek is a burgh in South Africa´s Western Cape with centuries-old vineyards and Cape Dutch ecclesiology. This small village nests at the bottom of a fertile valley in the heart of the Cape Winelands, surrounded by green hills and endless stern of grapevines. The village has an absorbing French past with magnificent wine possession and small French bakeries.
Although Franschhoek is small, it is huge on the culinary scene. The quint main road is lined with boutique and artisan restaurants that have been richly decorated with all kinds of awards. The village is rich in French history (Franschhoek means "French Corner" in Dutch).
Franschhoek offers over 25 major wine estates in the area surrounding the quint village, including some of South Africa’s most respected names in wine making. The valley is small and easy to explore, suffice to say you will not be short of options!
From walking the village, cycle or jumping on the Wine Tram, there is something for all to do during your stay.
Franschhoek will pretty soon be a special place close to your heart.

Check in is from 14:00 – 19:00 each day – if you require a later check in please let us know
Check out on day of departure is at 11:00
Late check outs will be charged as follows:
11:00 – 13:00 – 20% daily rate
11:00 – 15:00 – 50% of daily rate
After 15:00 – Full night’s stay
After 19:00 the Manor House is closed, but a manager is on call
No pets allowed, and the guesthouse is non-smoking.

Rates may differ on high peak times like festivals and long weekends. Any other terms and conditions which apply to bookings.
100% Payment due if bookings are made with in 7 days of arrival
50% Deposit on all bookings when making the reservation.
Remainder to be settled 7 days before arrival.
7 Day Cancellation (Rate Booked)
1. “No Shows” will be charged at 100% fee of the entire stay
2. Cancellations 0 – 07 days prior to arrival will be charged a 100% cancellation fee of entire stay
3. Cancellations 08 – 31 days or more prior to arrival will be charged a 12% cancellation fee
Refunds - All refunds will incur a handling and administration fee
