Hamilton House suites are elegant yet comfortable, and reflect the tranquillity of the Indian Ocean and Touws River estuary, all which are within short walking distance of the property. Also, an easy stroll to the quaint village centre of Wilderness, with a variety of restaurants, pubs and unique shops to discover. You will not require your vehicle with secure off-street parking provided.
Hamilton House offers couples, small families and groups of friends a choice of four suites all with a Sea View, each with unique features sure to suit your unique taste. Guests may enjoy the use of complimentary WiFi and all suites are fitted with USB charging ports to make sure you don´t miss out on that perfect sunset.
The beautiful oak staircase traverses the levels of the luxurious Hamilton House. On the First floor, there is an additional communal kitchen, honesty bar, lounge and dining area, with glass sliding doors leading out to a large outdoor furnished deck should guests wish to spend time together. The Honesty bar includes a selection of wine, beers, spirits and mixers, with icemaker, wine cooler and purified water.
Upon reaching the Second Floor one is greeted by breath-taking views of the Sea. On this Large 100sqm furnished deck guests can enjoy time together sipping sundowners or just relaxing in the sunshine. There are braai facilities available in this communal area.
Guests can enjoy the sheltered garden at the rear of the property for a communal braai on the garden deck.
Kayaks and stand-up paddle boards are available for use by our guests.

You can walk for miles along our sandy beach or enjoying the Touws River estuary which leads from the beach up-river to the waterfall or along the Serpentine through to Island Lake – guests enjoy the complementary use of the house kayaks and stand-up boards. There are hiking and mountain biking trails close by, world-class golf courses and, of course, the stunning natural surroundings to explore. The boardwalk entrance is 100m from Hamilton House. The boardwalk continues along the Touws river and gives access to numerous well documented walking trails in the pristine Parks Reserve.

If cancelled up to 30 days before arrival, an admin fee will be charged.
If cancelled up to 21 days before arrival, 50% of the total reservation price will be charged.
If cancelled up to 14 days before arrival, 75% of the total reservation price will be charged.
If cancelled later, including early curtailment of stay, or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
The booking will be deemed cancelled if not taken up by 19H00 unless prior notification has been given of late arrival.
Guests will provide form Identification such as a passport or South Africa ID upon checking in.
There is an Honesty Bar in the Guest Lounge on the First floor which is open to all Guests. Please note your consumption in the Booklet provided. Guest will be liable to pay for Honest Bar usage on check-out.
Smoking is not permitted indoors.
Smoking is not permitted on Communal first floor and second floor decks.
Guests may smoke on their private deck with the sliding door closed.
Should other guests complain about your smoking infringing on their comfort we reserve the right to request that you only smoke in the communal Back Garden.
This is a self-catering establishment and no meals are provided for the duration of your stay.
Should you wish to make a special request for a cooked meal to be provided this can be arranged on special request with at least 24 hours’ notice and payment upfront by the Guest.
Children of all ages welcome.
Children under the age of 12 years, shall be under parental supervision at all times – indoors and outdoors.
Due to the upper decks having glass railings, it is suggested that children under 12 are accommodated in the ground floor unit.
No pets of any kind are allowed on the premises.
No towels/linen or utensils are allowed to be removed from the guest house.
We reserve the right to determine noise levels and behaviour of guests, particularly between 22H00 and 8H00.
