We offer self catering accommodation in our beautifully restored manor house. From the moment you step through the solid wooden front door you’ll feel right at home. Don’t be surprised by the sense of familiarity you’ll experience upon arrival. There’s something special to resonate with everyone in the eclectically decorated house. The manor house has a total of 6 rooms and 5 bathrooms, divided into 3 separate wings. Each wing consists of 2 bedrooms – a master bedroom with a queen size 4-poster bed (with shower en-suite), and a twin room next door with a private bathroom (with bath and separate shower). Our 3 self-catering garden cottages are designed with a personal touch to make you feel at home. Surrounded by antiques and eclectic antique furniture, flop into a comfy bed for a restful night’s sleep.

Tulbagh is the 4th oldest town in South Africa dating back to the early 1700s. It is just 90 minutes drive from Cape Town. Church Street boasts the largest number of Cape Dutch, Edwardian and Victorian provincial heritage sites in one street in South Africa.
Tulbagh survived a devastating earthquake in 1969 but today you can take a walk down church street and admire the beautifully restored buildings, or pop into the museum to find out more.
