The ‘Big Five’ Klaserie Private Nature Reserve is one of the largest privately owned nature reserves in South Africa, covering some 60 000 hectares and forming part of the greater Kruger National Park. Makumu Private Game Lodge is an intimate oasis in this vast wilderness, surrounded by the harshness, unpredictability and unspoiled appeal of the African bushveld. Six luxurious and beautifully appointed suites all fitted with aircons, accommodating a maximum of twelve guests, ensure an exclusive blend of absolute comfort, style and privacy.
The Klaserie Private Nature Reserve (KPNR) is one of the largest privately owned ‘Big Five’ nature reserves in South Africa covering some 60 000 hectares and is part of the greater Kruger National Park. It is an entirely non-government organization involved in the full spectrum of Nature Conservation.

- Conditions: A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total accommodation amount is required to confirm a provisional reservation. Deposit is required upon confirmation of reservation.The balance/full payment is required 45 days prior to arrival.Any bookings made within 45 days prior to arrival are liable for full payment to cover cancellation fees.Cancellation Policy:100% Cancellation if cancelled 45 days or less prior to arrival. Rates IncludeAll game viewing activities (morning and afternoon drives, walking safaris, tracking big game on foot and bird watching)All meals, teas, coffees and a selection of local beverages including beers, wines and soft drinks.EFT must reflect within 72 hours to secure booking.At Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, you will be required to pay a bed levy fee and a conservation levy of R 480.00 per person per night (subject to change without prior notice). Please note that children under the age of 12 years are not liable to pay for any levies. The conservation levy is payable before arrival.Please be advised that any incorrect rates populated due to a system error will need to be reviewed before confirmation.
